Mary Ann Fowler Reproduction

This is a Scottish sampler with lots of lovely reds and greens, and some beautiful blues. Along with the familiar color scheme , this sampler has the tree motif, peacocks, and many sets of family initials seen on so many Scottish samplers. There is also, a wee little man, dressed in red
(maybe Prince Charlie),flowers and birds and for animal lovers what appears to be a purple and a red dog, and a rabbit. Stitches are all Cross stitches over 1 and 2, and eyelets. It is stitched on 30 ct Weeks Cocoa with NPI silks : 502 (2), 256 (2) 991, 544, 464, 993, 607, 564, 835
